Cookies
We use minimal cookies to provide core functionality:
- Session cookies — keep you logged into your student account. Removed when you close the browser.
- Consent cookie — remembers your cookie preference so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.
- Polsia analytics cookie — anonymous site-usage beacon (source, visit count). Contains no personal data.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
What we collect
When you register for a class or create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Dance experience level and class preferences
- Password (hashed with bcrypt, never stored in plain text)
- Communication preferences (marketing emails, class reminders)
Payment data is handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Manage your class registrations and student account
- Send transactional emails (confirmation, reminders, nurture follow-ups)
- Process video tutorial subscriptions via Stripe
- Provide customer support
We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in every email
